Pre-launch legal draft. This page documents the product's intended rules and current technical behavior. It requires review by a qualified lawyer before public paid launch.

Payments are not active

Pricing is currently a preview. WordHalo will not activate checkout until accounts, entitlements, cancellation, support, promised features, and payment lifecycle tests pass.

Planned plans

  • Companion: $5 monthly, $13 every three months, or $48 yearly.
  • Fluent founding price: $10 monthly, $27 every three months, or $96 yearly, subject to published eligibility terms.
  • Applicable taxes may be added and shown before payment.

Renewal and notice

Subscriptions will renew for the selected period until canceled. Checkout must display the total charge, billing interval, renewal behavior, included usage, and any founding-price conditions before purchase.

Cancellation

Members will be able to cancel through the customer portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access normally continues through the paid period unless law or a refund requires otherwise. WordHalo will not use hidden cancellation steps.

Proposed refund rule

The launch proposal is to honor a first-purchase refund requested within seven days when usage has not been abusive or excessive, plus any refund required by applicable law. Later renewals and partially used periods would generally be non-refundable unless law requires otherwise or WordHalo made a billing error. Counsel and the founder must approve this rule before checkout activates.

Failures, changes, and overages

Failed payments may enter a clearly disclosed grace period before paid access ends. Plan changes must show timing and price before confirmation. WordHalo will not silently bill usage overages; reaching a limit will pause the affected paid feature or offer an explicit plan choice.
